The Protective Self Was Never the Enemy. The idea that the ego is something to be eliminated is a misunderstanding that comes from shallow spiritual language. The ego, or more accurately, the identity structure, develops for a reason. It learns from experience. It builds boundaries, remembers pain and it negotiates safety.

Most people don’t get to heal in quiet sanctuaries. They heal in kitchens, cars, queues, and bathrooms where the only privacy is 37 seconds behind a closed door except when you (like me) have 2 cats staring at you. Healing in the real world is messy, loud, inconvenient, and completely unglamorous. But here’s the uncomfortable truth:

No One on This Planet Is “Fully Healed”, if we were, we’d be fossils. If being alive came with a 100% completion badge, we’d all disappear like characters at the end of a video game.

Somewhere along the line, we stopped trusting our own bodies and started trusting 18-year-old influencers with ring lights and zero medical training. Suddenly, everyone is swallowing potions, powders, oils, salts, and liquids that would make our grandparents raise an eyebrow so high it leaves their forehead.

Women bloom best beside other women who water their roots, not compete with their petals. No envy. No judgment. Just: I see you. I love you. Keep growing, beautiful soul.
