The Women Who Water Our Roots

Somewhere along the line, women were told to compete.

Compete for love.

For attention.

For beauty.

ree

For space.

And while we were busy doing that, we forgot the ancient magic of circling around each other, not against each other.

But here’s the truth: women bloom best beside other women who water their roots, not compete with their petals.

When you find those women, the ones who clap when you win, check on you when you’re quiet, and call out your light when you

forget it’s there, keep them close.

They are the quiet healers of the feminine wound.

It’s not about perfection or endless positivity either. Real sisterhood doesn’t wear matching linen and hum in harmony all day. It’s messy, honest, tear-streaked, and sometimes blunt as hell. But it’s love and it is oh so very real.

When one of us rises, she doesn’t block the sun, she creates more warmth for the rest to grow in. That’s the energy we need now: less comparison, more celebration. Less “who does she think she is,” and more “look at her go!”

So today, take a moment and think of the women who water your roots, the ones who remind you of who you are when you forget. Send them a message, tag them, thank them. Tell them you see them.

Because this kind of love is how we change things. This is how we remember what it means to bloom together.

With love forever, Nicci 🌷

“The bloom is not the beginning. It is what rises when the roots remember they belong.”
